WHAT I DID TODAY

In this lesson we did some filming and we managed to do the Jessica scene and I did experiments with panning shots and I did a birds eye view shot of Elise, who is one of my characters in the trailer. I did this because I got inspiration from the first insidious film where they are all sitting around in a circle and the old lady is communicating with the evil spirits that are haunting the main family in the trailer. The process: My teacher filmed me standing in front of one of the computers near the door. Then we took out the glass from a wooden frame and we filmed the frame. Then we uploading all our footage onto the macs and then opened up Premiere Pro. We put the footage onto Premiere Pro and played around with some buttons and functions, we put the footage of my in front of the computers and shelf and we put it inside the frame to make it look like i was coming from within the frame.

TREATMENT FOR MY TRAILER

The beginning : The setting is peaceful and pleasant. It takes place in a family dining room area, where a family are sitting down, around the table and enjoying their meal together. Then they have desert afterwards, they relax for some time and the they each make their way to bed. Outside their house, on the opposite side of street, there is an evil presence lurking and watching the son as he goes upstairs to his bedroom alone. The middle : When everyone is asleep, the evil entity seeps through the walls of the house and appears in the sons bedroom. In a flash of light from outside, the entity possess the unknowing son. Then he makes his way to the basement and walks down the creaky steps, until he reaches a plain, white wall hidden in the shadows. Then he puts his arm out in front of him thus opening up a 'Void of darkness'. Then after this happened, a stream of creep creatures escape through the void into their house and the real world. MOVIE POSTER IDEAS

This empty mirror frame is my inspiration for the main image of my movie poster because I like the idea of having Ann come out of the mirror because I fell that it sums up to movie just by itself and the audience will instantly know that the movie poster relates to the actual movie. Also, I used Adobe  Photoshop and the quick selection tool to select the piece of the  mirror that I wanted (which was only the frame). This image is what I want on my movie poster. I will have Ann coming out of the mirror (which is similar to this mirror) with her hands in a similar position and I will have the frame of the mirror I am using be blended into the black background, which will make the audience fearful because the picture of Ann I will use will have a bit of fake blood on her.
