APPLIED TODOROV'S NARRATIVES THEORY TO THE FILM IT.

1. A state of equilibrium A teenager called Bill Denbrough is spending some quality time with his younger brother Georgie and gives him a paper boat and Georgie goes out onto the street with it and sails it along the rainy streets. 2. A distruption of that event or peaceful setting (disequilibrium) Georgie is killed by the clown Pennywise, while reaching into the dark drain to retrieve his paper boat from the evil clown. Then in the following summer, Bill and his two friends are bullied by a gang and Bill asks his friends to come to the marshy wastelands to see if his younger brothers body washed up there. 3. A recognition that the disorder has  occurred A kid called Ben Hanscom learns that the town has been plagued by unexplained child disappearances for years. DOCTOR DOCTOR JOKE VIDEO

This is an edited version of my previous doctor doctor joke video.

DOCTOR, PATIENT JOKE VIDEO PROJECT

Image
What is wrong with this video; At the beginning, there is a shot of her opening the door and then opening the door again.  The Editing Method: I imported my short video on to iMovie and I clicked on new event & positioned the clips from my video on there. Then I want to the iLife sound effects and scrolled through the different sounds until I got to the sitcom laughter section (I picked the 0:17 seconds sound). I put this sound at the end of the video where the doctor doctor joke is said by the patient and the doctor because I released that it would make sense to put it at that part, instead of the beginning or the middle because the audience will most likely be confused as to why there is laughter there, when nothing funny is being said. Then, I scrolled through the iMovie sound effects and found a squeaky metal door sound, which I used at the beginning of the video, where the patient opens the door and comes in.

VIDEO DRAMA PROJECT

Image
This is a short film me and my group decided to make. It is a unconventional film because it features a lesbian couple instead of the stereotypical husband and woman. We choose this twist to make our project interesting. During our planning stages, we each thought of different ideas on what to film and in the end we decided to go with this story.  Our script was improvised due to the fact that we couldn't think of a written script, we allocated roles to ourselves and we started to film. We had to film some parts again because we felt that they weren't quite right. We also used some closeups of the main actors faces as well.  When we were editing: we imported our short movie onto  iMovie and we played around a bit with the different sound effects  until  we found the right ones. Most of the sound effects I used were life sound like a jazz type of music and a alarm clock. I put the arguing scene in the middle-i...
