- what happens: A couple's relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. - what the dialogue is like: There was lots of whispering at the start, soft and loving tone of voices, grasping, shouting, screaming.

Then it cuts to the shot of the front door opening, then cuts to the wife's disbelief, facial expression, then it uses an over the shoulder shot, then uses lots of cuts and fade outs and a medium close up is used aswell.

- what happens: A mother & son lost a husband and father and are living alone. The son finds book called Mister Babadook and he reads it with his mother before they go to bed, unwittingly brings the scary Babadook to life. they start to experience supernatural events and we hear a child's voice saying "you cant get rid of the Babadook". throughout the trailer, the mother and son try to get rid of the Babadook, but it is not an easy task for them and the mother at one point gets possessed by the Babadook book has pictures of her holding a nice and with a creepy facial expression.
- what kind of characters are there: a lonely and depressed mother, a son with 'behavior problems', two councilors, the mothers colleague and the Babadook.
- what the dialogue is like: creepy childlike voices, low grunting from the Babadook, nervous and scared tones from both mother and son.
- how camera/mise-en-scene/editing/sound are used: Close up of the book, close up of the mothers face, establishing shot of both mother and son, side shot of the sons frightened face,close up of mothers tired face,low angle shot of the mother in the car driving, mid high angle shot at the end. Mise-en-scene- posters, plain wallpaper, lots of dark places and corners, grey, bleak and dark colours, eerie lights from the windows, low lighting in the house, high lighting outside. Sounds- scary, ominous, deep and frightening music and whispering, grunting, silence,creepy child voice. Editing- close up,then cuts to establishing shot of mother and son, then fades out to a different shot of the mother looking at the book, there are lots of fast cuts between the shots and then it slows down.

- what happens: Similar style of horror film to Psycho, Oliver has extreme mummy issues and split personalities.
- what kinds of characters there are: Woman (innocent, unknowing), Oliver -with his double personalities, his mother.
- what the dialogue is like: not much in the trailer but, screaming form a tied up woman who is screaming and Oliver is maniacally laughing.
- how camera/mise-en-scene/editing/sound are used: Camera- Lots of close ups of Oliver and his victims, mid-high angle shot of Oliver sitting in a shower stall, medium long shot of a woman in a white dress, looking scared. Mise-en-scene- Blood (lots of it), shower curtains +shower stalls, market place in a foreign country, worn out fence, lights, door-dark opening, plain wallpaper. Sounds- buzzing, ringing sounds, fast heart beats, knifes sliding against each other, grasping and muffled screaming, crazy laughter. Editing- Close up of a woman's blooded face, cuts to Oliver holding his head in his hands and screaming, cuts to woman being dragged away by Oliver, cuts to different shots of Oliver's bloodied face, at the end it only has him in the shot and the other character blurry.

- what happens: Seven young outcasts in Derry, Maine, are about to face their worst nightmare -- an ancient, shape-shifting evil that emerges from the sewer every 27 years to prey on the town's children. - what the dialogue is like: Nervous, anxious speaking from the children, we can detect trepidation form the tone of voice that they are using, the clowns creepy voice.
- how camera/mise-en-scene/editing/sound are used: Camera- At the start, there is an establishing shot of two brothers, an over the shoulder shot of the older brother speaking to the younger one, aerial-high angle shot of the younger brother running out onto the empty street, a low angle tracking shot of the younger boy running after his paper boat, zooms into the drain and we see a shot of the clowns smiling face, establishing shot of the town. Mise-en-scene- Lonely house, empty street, barrier, dark drain, missing persons poster, red balloon in the classroom, dark tunnel/sewer, dead grass, creepy old house, field of wheat?,water and a creepy basement. Sound- Music is as at beginning (piano is playing), raining, abrupt silence, creepy dings, echoey music, low sounds, creepy childlike laughing, screaming, heavy breathing. Editing- Cuts between companies and a boy making a paper boat, then cuts to him hugging his younger brother,, then cuts to the young boy running out of the house alone, cuts between the boy and the boat being carried along by the water, cuts to a black screen with writing on it, then cuts to between each of the friends faces, cuts to the two original brothers from the beginning of the clip, facing each other, then finally cuts to the clown (Pennywise), who is watching the older brother from behind his younger sibling, with an creepy expression on his face.

- what happens: A group of friends go on a expedition into a network of tunnels and caves and get stuck down there and encountering flesh eating monsters and them trying to all escape.

Editing- Shot of friends taking a picture, then cuts to an establishing shot of a group photo, then cuts to an aerial-high angle shot of them driving in the car, low angle shot, then it cuts=zooms to level with one of the friends, cuts to inside the cave, then cuts to a aftermath of a miniature cave in, then cuts to an close up of a woman's face which has has terrified facial expression, then cuts to them seeing the flesh, eating creature behind on of the friends, then cuts to them getting attacked. Sound- Lots of grunting and growling, screaming, shouting, heavy breathing, low, deep noises and creepy echoes, crumbling rocks and creepy music.
