SCRIPT FOR MY TRAILER ORIGINAL VERSION

INT. INSIDE THE HOUSE – MIDDAY

Jessica, Ryan and Alice

are unpacking

and Alice hears voices

and goes to the basement.

She walks down in trepidation (fear)

Voices get louder as Alice

approaches the mirror.

ALICE

Touches the mirror in curiosity and

sees Ann covered in blood in the mirror

and is getting closer to her.

Alice feeling scared runs out to her mom and dad.

ALICE

Daddy! Daddy! I saw a girl

 in the mirror!

RYAN

Don’t be silly Alice it’s

just your imagination!

JESSICA

Don’t worry Alice, go and unpack,

I will see what’s there.

Goes down to the basement and sees

the mirror.

She touches it and is pushed down

to the floor by Ann as she is

crawling out of the mirror.

Jessica in shock runs out the basement

and locks the door.

Ryan is behind her and Jessica jumps

RYAN

Jessica what’s wrong? Are you okay?

Hugs Ryan and is shacking

JESSICA

(hysterical)

I saw a girl Ryan, I saw something!

Faints .

EXT. DOCTORS OFFICE – LATE AFTERNOON

Jessica is sitting outside,

and the doctor is talking to Ryan.

RYAN

She was shacking a lot and just fainted;

She thought that she

saw a girl in our basement

DOCTOR

Well, she just had a huge shock

 and her body needs rest for her

 to go back to her normal state.

Please take care of her.

RYAN

I will try my very best, Thank you

Ryan holds Jessica by her arms and they walk out.

INT. HOME – LATE AFTERNOON

Alice is coloring in her room and Ann

is standing behind her.

Ann grabs her by the leg,

and starts to drag her into the mirror

while Alice is screaming and trying

to grab onto whatever she can.

Ann leaves a trail of her footprints in blood.

Jessica and Ryan return home.

JESSICA

Alice! Alice! Were back.

Sees blood footprints and gasps.

She runs to Alice’s room. She starts to cry

falls to the floor. Ryan comes in and in shock

sees the blood footprints. Sits next to Jessica and hugs her.

JESSICA

I know who took her,

and only one person can bring her back.

INT. HOME – MORNING

Elise enters their home

Jessica talks in the background

JESSICA

My sister, she is a spirit summoner,

She will know to get

 Alice back and find some answers.

RYAN

Are you sure about

 this jess?

JESSICA

It’s the only way

ELISE

Hi Jessica, I came as fast

 as I heard the news

She hugs Jessica

JESSICA

Thanks for coming Elise,

I didn’t know who else to go to.

 A girl took our daughter.

I… I don’t know who she is but

 she took her into that mirror.

RYAN

Have you lost your mind Jessica!

I am not going to believe that our

 daughter has been taken by some ghost.

Jessica stands up and starts shouting at Ryan.

JESSICA

Ryan! Wake up!

Our daughter is missing and

there is blood on the floor!!!

ELISE

I know what we can do!

But I will need your complete trust!

INT. HOUSE – NIGHT

They are all siting in a circle with candles

Surrounding them.

Elise starts to chant.

Harriet, Ann’s mother appears in front of them.

Harriet looking scared and angry,

she looks up at them.

JESSICA

Who are you?

ELISE

She is Ann’s mother,

She is the only one capable

 of getting Alice back.

HARRIET

You wont be able to… She will kill you all…

All she wants is to be loved.

Going into the mirror is the only way.

One of you must travel into the mirror to find your daughter from Ann’s clutches.

JESSICA

I will go!

Ryan stands up in shock.

Goes towards her and grabs her by the shoulders.

RYAN

What are you saying Jessica?

Are you crazy?

 I’m not losing you as well!

JESSICA

(Sad facial expression)

She is our daughter Ryan;

We have to get her back

Jessica walks towards the mirror slowly with an anxious facial expression. The mirror ripples as she walks through it.

Jessica emerges into the mirror but finds herself in a different time period (but the same house).

Jessica sees the victims of Ann (children)and tries approach them.

JESSICA

What happen to you?

GHOST CHILDREN

We were all murdered by Ann.

She lured us into this mirror.

Ghost children start surrounding Jessica and starts shouting

GHOST CHILDREN

Now it’s your turn

She will die x4

Jessica panics, sits down and starts to scream. Puts her hands over her ears.

Ghost children disappear

Jessica looks up and around her. She stands up in determination

JESSICA

Starts shouting

Alice!!! Where are you?

Alice!

Scene cuts to an extreme close up of Ann smirking devilishly.

We have watched a series of horror trailers and have realised that in all of them, the scary parts are scattered through out the trailer instead of in chronological order (like how my script is).I am going to upload a new version that follows closely the structure of the trailers that I have seen.
